My name is Alejandro Marrero. I was born in Manhattan, New York on march 20, 1991. Even though I was born in Manhattan, I’ve lived my whole life in Puerto Rico (since I was 3 months old). I also would like to add that I have a younger sister (3 years younger than me). I went to high school at Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, from which I graduated on 2009. Right after high school I went to the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Píedras. After a year and a half, I decided to join the Air National Guard, and resumed my studies on 2014 at the University of Puerto Rico in Carolina to finish my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management. During My Air Force tech school, which is where you go to learn the job you will be performing with the Air Force, I won an Ace Award (passed all test with a perfect 100/100) along with the Distinguished Graduate Award, which is awarded to airmen who not only achieve academic excellence, but also demonstrate strong leadership skills. Once I complete my bachelor’s degree, I plan on commissioning as an officer in armed forces or starting my own business. I'd love to start a business in agriculture since the number of imported products in Puerto Rico is just to high, and I want to do my part so that one day we may be self sufficient.
